OUR MISSION
The CDDP's mission is to foster awareness and increase directing opportunities for women and other historically underrepresented groups of people through a targeted program of outreach, mentorship and exposure.
01.
LEARN
We will select 5 Fellows for the program who will each be paired with individual production companies that will mentor them throughout the program and will include shadowing, networking and one-on-one career advice.
02.
BE MENTORED
They will also be invited to attend our robust workshops at SMUGGLER. In addition- 10-15 Finalists will be given the opportunity to to attend the workshops in-person; and Semi-Finalists will participate in workshops via Zoom from July - August, 2024.
03.
TOP PRODUCTION HOUSES
We will share the work of the 5 Fellows to a select group of industry at the end of the 2024 Program Cycle.
