Bio

Megan is a writer-director known for telling funny stories with real heart. She loves working with improvisors, comedians, and three-year-old tyrants who are constantly yelling “Mom come wipe me!” Megan earned her MFA at Harvard University and trained at the UCB Theater. She directed shorts and branded content for Funny Or Die, where her videos amassed more than 20 million views. ROMPER is the most watched FoD video to date.

Megan’s short films, EVERYBODY DOES IT and BUTTERCUP, have earned rave reviews and awards across the country. BUTTERCUP was also selected as one of nine films to tour the US and Canada as part of LunaFest and one of five films selected to screen in Beijing.

Megan directed a PSA for Access Books produced by Women in Film, which won a 2018 Bronze Telly award and a Platinum Best of Show Aurora Award. Megan was also selected to participate as a Finalist in the 2021 Commercial Directing Diversity Program. The Roku Channel produced Megan’s most recent short, PICKLED, as part of an anthology of shorts by up-and-coming comedy directors. Her next film, HANGMAN, will premiere this summer.
